MG MGF Technical - How do I set the code on the radio?

I have the pin for my radio from the dealer and need to set it, does anyone know how?

I did this just yesterday. use the arrow keys to select the correct number and then I think you press the button with in between them (or may be the '1' button)

Instructions are switch on radio and code appears in the display. Press pre-set button 1.

Press either of the tuning buttons to select first digit of security code. Then press pre-set button 1 to store.

use a tuning button to selct the second digit of the code, press pre-set 1 to store.

select the third and fourth in the same manor.

OK all the radio says when I turn it on is 'WAIT' it sits like this for at least an hour, no buttons have any function apart from the bass / treble dial which when held in for a couple of seconds beeps at me.

This "wait" is a sign that a incorrect code has been entered. You are not meant to switch off during this delay period. At the end of this delay period it will go back to "CODE" The thing to note though is every time an incorrect code is entered the time delay "Wait" period doubles.

Doesn't this depend upon the type of radio, and are you trying to set the code for the first time, or because you have disconnected it from the battery? Also, I was given the incorrect code with my new TF, so when I tried to set it for the first time, it would not accept the code I was trying to input. I made them change the radio.
