MG MGF Technical - Inside the MGF silencer

Didnt one of you guys have a picture of what exists inside the silencer of an MGF ?

I need to see it if you have. I dont suppose anybody has yet butchered up a ZT rear box...yet.

I am sorry the darkside is calling very loudly from the ZT V8 and you know what that means!!!

Neil,
Register as a member and search the archives, I believe Rob or Dieter had done such a thing with good conclusive pictures recently.

So, If the orignal exahaust sound 'empty'(which mine does), it's that rockwool in the side chambers that's been worn out.

Do you get the same perfomance if just stuffing it to the original fill with insulation rockwool, and welding it shut again?

Worthwhile? (After all it is stainless...)

A cut and shut job sounds just like my thinking!
