MG MGF Technical - low rpm, low coolant effect

Hi all,
2-3 years ago I had to change coolant pump in my TF.

When home I noticed 1000rpm engine make coolant circle very weak (no collant "sound" in air heater and air come very little!).

I noticed pump work very little if under 2000rpm. If I have a city traffic tail for a while... I have to select max heater temperature to feel good... when I go over 2500-3000rpm air became really hot... and I have to select middle scale heater temperature.

I'm afraid.... is my water pump efficient enought?

What about?

Thanks in advance to you all

I noticed one more thing:
I feel air come hotter when I'm steering left. Turning right I feel air temperature identical to straight forward driving.

What about it?

Is it a standard feature? Is my coolant running well or has it some troubles?

Thanks to you in advance

Is it possible your thermostat is not closing fully or maybe has been drilled by a previous owner(a deliberate mod to prevent HGF)? I have no idea why left and right heat output would differ - maybe G forces make your legs nearer to the heater ;o)

Possible there is an airlock in the heater matrix preventing it from filling completely. If the coolant pump wasn't circulating enough the temperature of the coolant would increase, causing the radiator fan to operate frequently.

Worth opening the bleed screw on the heater matrix (close to the brake servo) and checking fluid appears.

bandit,

I opened bleed screw several times and fluid came out regularly.

Do you notice the radiator fan operating more often than you would expect? If not, that would suggest the problem is just in the heater matrix - a blockage perhaps. The only way of testing it would be to remove it and connect to a high pressure water hose. Not a difficult job, but does require the centre console to be removed completely.
bandit

radiator fan runs in normal way (no more often on)...

one more thing:

coolant temperature indicator stay under mid range, even when fun comes on!
