MG MGF Technical - More tyres / hydragas

Hi,
sorry to ask the same old questions,

Have the inner tyre wear problem on the front rubber.

So need replacing. When i had the 5 yr service the dealer said the hydragas needing pumping some time in the future. Obviously the tracking was out as well.

I called MG in romford who wanted £50 for hydragas, and £100 for tracking and fitting 4 tyres.

Does anyone know anywhere in essex/herts that can do this properly but for less ££.

(Also i have nct3's and as the front are worn is it worth replacing the whole set with decent tyres, eg f1's for £250 inc delivery from micheldever?)

Thatnks

Halfway House on the Southend Road A127 tomorrow evening Andrew Philips is pumping up my *F* with the Essex Boys HydraGas pump - I am sure he could do yours at the same time £10.00 is what they charge to cover costs!

Thanks Ted
Nice one.

Sure they wouldnt mind???

I have heard of the halfway house. Is that the pub, or did the pub shut down??

What time do you meet?

That would be real handy though. Dont spose you know any local garages for tracking and stuff as well do you?
Ben

The guys at the meeting should be able to point you in the right direction for places in your area Ben. The place I use is in west London, which charges 40 quid for 4 wheel alignment, so I think that you should find somewhere that is capable of meeting that price!

Regarding tyres - yes it is definitely worth upgrading to F1s all round - and Micheldever are very competitive with their prices.

I must confess I dont know if the pub is still there or not - I am assuming it is!

I am meeting the gang there for my first time all I know is it the junction of the A127 and the A128.

I am sure they wont mind!

thanks guys.

will def try and get to the hwh then tomorrow.

For computer wheel alignment you could try Superytres of Maldon they quote around 44 for all four wheels 1/2 that just for fronts.
