MG MGF Technical - Radiator Swap
The radiator on Helen’s 1996 MGF VVC needs replacing. I’ve heard the later model alloy (?) rad is a worthwhile upgrade. Does anyone have experience of this mod? Is it a straight swap? What’s the part number? Thanks in advance. DC

I have just had my 1998 mpi replaced with the ally TF one from Mike Satur. The cost of the rad was £125. As for fitting, I can't comment as I had him fit mine along with Stainless Steel coolant pipes at the same time. I didn't fancy bleeding the system myself and would suggest you contact him direct for further info. http://www.mikesatur.com/ HTH

When mine went (a 98 F) I replaced it with an new alloy TF version. It was a straight swap. Don't have the part number to hand - but Dieter has a parts guide on line if someone can supply the URL. Steve

Many thanks. A nice TF alloy rad is on its way, thanks to Ebay (£82). Cheers, DC
