MG MGF Technical - Rear Window broken used one ?

Hi all MGF fellows
I have a MGF 1997 which is very nice and good working
After taking off the hard top I found my rear window
broken and has now put on tape on it so no water inside but a new is GBP 188:- by B&G Baldock
With this huge amounts og MGF sold in UK is there no junk dealer selling used spare parts for MGF so I could find a used rear window?
In sweden we could search on a database for used spareparts from junk dealers for all kinds of cars and models but as we only have very small amounts of MGF in Sweden there is no available at junk dealers

Best regards

will probably ship you a replacement you can fit yourself.

They don't seem to show an email address, but a call on

00 44 20 8777 6764

will probably yield results.

A number of people here have used their products sucessfully...

Good luck

Neil.

PS I assume you had unzipped your screen rather than just leaving it folded...

Hakan,

I just went to a sail maker and they fixed one in for me for £30 - better then the real thing (stronger clear plastic)

I had to get it out though.

I have had a split in mine for about 3 years and have just used proper tarpaulin tape which fixed it fine.

Mind you I could do with a new screen (even better a new roof) as I did put another crack in it last year just before the hard top went on but yet again the tape has fixed it okay.

Okay it looks a bit scruffy compared to a new screen but it is dry and does not impede rear view vision and it is as secure as it will get as if anyone wants to get in the car they will.

Tom,

You know who to talk to for a new roof don't you.... need I say more...!

Tim,

Yep I know who to talk to and probably will as I also need a new stearing wheel as mine has warn out but am leaving it a bit as I have no rush.

Any way I have heard all about the jaffa cakes so that alone is worth the journey.
