MG MGF Technical - Squeaky Wipers
Anyone got a cure for squeaky wipers? I'm talking about the wipers squeaking off the glass.. See they're driving me mad already!!
Shane
Hi Shane, I had the same problem and just bought a new pair and now it seems fine!
Jorg Mendgen
Hi Jorg, Thanks, but I just bought these and they seem to be worse then the one they replaced. :-{
Shane
Shane, Try RainX on your screen, you have to use the wipers less.
Allard de Graaf
Can you use Rain-X on the rear screen? Just a thought, but the drops seem to stick to my rear screen for ever, and it makes reversing or looking in the mirror a nightmare! Cheers Paul
Paul
Thanks I'll give that a shot.
Shane
Paul, RainX should be fine on your rear screen. I ause it on my motorbike visor and it doesn't appear to harm the plastic!
Mark Turner
I used RainX also on my rear screen, it worked a little bit. The drops are nice round with RainX so the view is better. The drops won't disappear that quickly as on the front screen. Allard

Squeaking winpers is often due to the wrong angle of attack. They need to be twisted by an expert mechanic so that the angle of attak allows them to glide in both ways. Have had mine sorted on both the MG and wosrt of oall on the Voyager. David
