MG MGF Technical - Stone Chips

I'm getting quite a few stone chips on the front end of the bonnet.Has anyone got any recommended solutions to this problem without going to the expense of having the whole bonnet resprayed??

Search the archives for Langka, then buy yourself a touch up stick.

But make sure it is the right touch up stick (check the colour code as well as the name) Halfords will mix you a stick if you have HAM (original MGF BRG, but not the rover BRG that halfords stock) or any onther other colour not in their stock.

Langka is available from Frosts...website www.frost.co.uk
They have a good mail order service, plus a superb catalogue of retouch/polish kits
Bob (aka The Blue Max)

Bob you should be on commision from Frosts.

I was sceptical about it. But since my F has 400,000,000,000 stonechips I bought it...........

bl00dy brilliant only

56,000,000,000 chips to go

A PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY WORKS

Not sure how good they are but Halfords(spit) do a complete stone chipping service for £99.

Anyone tried it?
Seems pretty good value to me

Yep the Langka does work for chips, but I have tried it on a few scratches (also in BRG) and the result was not so good. Even working only perpendicularly as it says.

But for chips... well worth it!

Check out the franchise Chips Away. Many people from the Elise board have had nothing but good to say about them.

Try keeping more distance from the car in front.....
Ewan Ramage

Thanks Ewan,

While we're at it lets just let the car sit in the garage every day.

Such helpful comments are always appreciated
