MG MGF Technical - Swap tyres?

Rear tyres are wearing quite a bit faster than fronts
10k miles GY F1s 6mm tread on front, 3-4mm on back, is it worth swapping the fronts for the backs? they're 215/40zr16 all round?

Cheers
Kingsley

I'd say yes it was Kingsley :o)

It only delays the inevitable.
But isnt that what life is all about? :-)
Russell

Don't forget they may unidirectional and if so should only rotate in one direction, marked with a big arrow on the tyre.
John

yep, unidirectional so no left right swapping.
I'll give it a go this weekend.
Kingsley

You can have your unidirectional tyres swapped left to right if you rotate both on the wheel. :-)

Swapping tyres isn't such a big problem. Since you mantain tyre thread type and dimension.
Go for it, it will save you money.

Cheers, Valter.
