MG MGF Technical - TF Side intakes - how are they removed?
Title says it all really! I'm thinking of replacing the black plastic grilles with woven SS mesh from Demon Tweaks (pt no ME5).

Anyone?

Ian You could try side-swiping a barrier on the M55! I've heard doing it nose-on is a quick way to remove a front bumper ;-) Seriously, I don't know. It's easy on the F as there are 2 self tapping screws top and bottom just inside the mesh. These can be undone and the whole unit comes out. Then it's just a matter of cutting away the mastic to remove the actual plastic grille. Can't help any more than that - sorry! Cheers Paul

I think the TF is a little more difficult. When I picked up my TF, I had a one silver and one black airvent. The garage exchanged the black one for a silver one and it took them over an hour to complete the task. Steve

Paul, firstly p1ss 0ff! lol secondly there are no screws to be seen on the TF so I assumed they're clipped in but don't want to force them. The TF grill is also stuck with mastic I can see that bit.
