MG MGF Technical - Tracking - how often?

I had a full set of new tyres fitted to my TF 160 at the weekend (sames as before, Eagle F1 GSD2s) and also had a four-wheel alignment done as the inner edge of the rears were wearing badly. This has completely transformed the car - smoother, less skitish, less tramlining, quieter, etc! It's like driving a new car! New tyres would account for the car being quieter, but I was shocked at how far out the wheel alignment was (like 27 minutes toe in instead of 15 on the rear n/s...). It's never been kerbed and I had a 4-wheel track done when I bought the car 3 years ago. How often should you have to get the alignment checked? Can it actually be thrown off by normal driving (albeit on Surrey's dreadful excuse for road surfaces)?

My dealer used to recommend every 6 months and then again if the tyres were changed. but that was in the days when toe-out at the front was the recommended set-up.

I use Rob Bell's settings now and they only need checking every 12 months.

The standard rubber bushes, especially those on the rear tiebars, don't hold the wheels aligned either, but the only thing I noticed was the back end would shimmy on hard braking.
