have a look at the Tyre Pressure thread.

Checked my Tyre Pressures on my TF at the weekend and they were 35 all round. Handbook says 26 in the front and 36 in the rears. I have covered 600 very bumpy miles and thought it was the suspension. Put the correct pressures in and what a difference it makes !!!

Hi,

Where did you get this info from ?

So I've been ruunin 24 Front 28 Rear !

I did not get a specific Trophy manual with my car.
Does one exist ? if so can you let me know the
part number.

Thanks

I have a standard VVC, what should the pressures be for this front and back? (1996)
Neil

>>>>as the backs look a little low

They're probably fine. Delete 'low' and replace with 'f*cking cool'. I really like my VVC 16" square-spokes, but those trophy alloys are growing on me!

Anyway, can anyone tell me why the rear tyre pressures for a Mk2 VVC on F1's is 28psi, and a Trophy on F1's is 36psi?

Hi Joe,

I call the dealer I bought the car off and they
can't find the Trophy info booklet, does it
have any other part numbers ?

If possible can you scan the cover so I can
show them and try to get a copy ?

Who knows what else I might be missing.....

Thanks

Thats the correct part no,it also has details on ims,and full tech data.

Sorry I do not have a scanner, its also dated 2001.
Joe

26/36 seems like a lot of difference front/back
i've been 24/28 or 26/30 on mine 215 16" all round - should they be 36 at the rear?

I have the booklet. If you want, I'll scan the whole lot, and e-mail it to you as *.jpg files. That way the files won't be too big, and you can print it out. It's not very big, 8-10 pages I think.
Can't do it until I'm home on Thursday, but if you still need it, drop me an e-mail and I'll sort it.

Paul
