Hell Andy switch your caps lock off!

Yes these are adjustable - not difficult but very fiddly - again lots in the archives.

If you search the archives for "Window stops" you should find something which will guide you on how to adjust your windows!.

The maximum/minimum height your window comes up can be adjusted via these stops, ie you could adjust the front one to allow that side of the window to extend a little further up to reach the hood/windscreen seal!.

Andy, have a look on Tony's website for details on how to adjust the side windows: http://www.apttony.co.uk/Servicing/GlassAdjust.html

But, I agree with the others here, it does seem as though the window stops may have failed, and require replacement...
Rob Bell

I changed window stops on both sides last weekend.

Both sides had been leaky, but the passenger side window stop failed completely, allowing the window to go 5cm too high. I decided to change booth sides, which turned out to be a good move.

On the broken side, it turned out that it has been changed at least 3 times before, as i found remnants in the door.

On the driver side someone seem to have lost the patience and put an ordinary M4 bold with washers straight through the glass.

I replaced stops on sides, and also put in small rubber washers in the "retainer assembly" to remove the play against the rail and thus removing the wiggle of the window.

So far it has been watertight....

For replacing the stops, below is a good link on how to open the door. HOWEVER, beware, picture 14 and 16 in this description shows the stop mounted in the wrong way. the square part should face the window.
