MG MGF Technical - Wheel Offset

Help I have been offered some 16" wheels that look like those fitted to the MGF Cup Cars, but I'm not sure if they are the correct wheel, as a similar wheel was fitted to the Rover 200 BRM.

The wheels have an offset of -45 is this correct for the F? Does anyone one know the part number for the optional minilite lookalike 16" wheels that were offered in 96-98 so I can check they are correct?
Dave

I think the part no for the Minilites is RRC110260MNH
7.0 x 16

The 8 spoke 15 inch wheels part no is RRC112880MNH
6.0 x 15

PCD is 95.25mm and offset is 30 - 35 mm

Chris

dave, the wheels from the BRM are the same design, not sure if the offsets are but the wheel PCD's will be different.

Looking further at the wheels they are 6.5x16 and have 205x45x16 Dunlop 9000 tyres. They must be the BRM wheels if the MGF wheels were 7x16.

Mike the PCD is the same.
Dave

I have looked at my list of parts for the MGF and I do not have a 6.5 x 16 they are all 6 x 15 or 7 x 16.

As the Offset is -45 I think they are totally different.

Take a look at the following and this will explain the offset etc

Interestingly you say the PCD is the same, yet I too, like Mike , believe that the 200 PCD is different to the F.

Dave, Mike and Chris are correct - the R200 uses a 100mm PCD rather than the 95.25mm used on the MGF.

If this 6.5J wheel you've found has a 95.25mm PCD, then its origin is a mystery...
