For those planning to attend the 50th Anniversary of the New England MG T Register in Middlebury Vermont, June 18 ~ 22, be warned that hotel space is being gobbled up quickly; and its only January! The Register has booked the entire 71 rooms of the charming Middlebury Inn. 16 remain unbooked. We have an overflow hotel on standby. We are getting registrations a lot earlier than for most GOFs. You must make your reservations directly with the Inn, and you must state that you are a member of the NEMGTR to get the preferred rate. +1 802-388-4961, http://www.middleburyinn.com/, Toll Free: 800-842-4666 This GOF is going to be a great event. Two tours in the Green Mountains of Vermont are arranged including a covered bridge tour organized by a Register member; a contractor who restores these architectural gems. For those who are not NEMGTR members, but do own an MG (any model), we have a wee surprise for you; You can attend the GOF and participate, we have something for you ~ more later. There are only a couple of rooms left at The. Middlebury Inn, and they are some of the pricier rooms. Email me at dasander@aolDOTcom and I will email you lodging information. I have rooms reserved at two other Inns in Middlebury. Thanks, -David |

For what it is worth, Hotel reviews indicate the annex is not the place to be. Regards, Tom |

You may be right Tom, But We're trying to hold a GOF in a 200 year old college town with limited hotel accommodations. I have personally inspected the Annex rooms and whilst they don't have the charm of the gorgeous main Inn rooms, they are quite adequate, and will be just fine for me and my daughter. The whole town of Middlebury is absolutely charming. While we play with our MGs, the ladies are going to love the shopping. Not surprisingly, we are already getting a lot of registrations from our web-site, and the latest TSO with the printed registration forms, has yet to be mailed. Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué. |

Hello Gordon, you have the first hand experience which is much more pertinent. I should have provided the link to tripadvisor.com for those who are unable to evaluate in person. Your opinion carries a lot more weight with me than tripadvisor.com. Thanks for posting. Regards, Tom |

The annex rooms were the first to sell out. The very few rooms remaining are in the main inn. If anyone needs a room, please email me and I will tell you how to get one of the rooms in one of the adjoining inns. I have more rooms blocked. -David. Dasander at aol dot com |
