MG TD TF 1500 - Anybody interested in a bar badge?
I mentioned a while back that we have formed a club here in the western slope of Colorado due to the distance (250 miles plus) involved to any other British car groups. We now have 30 members many with multiple cars and things seem to be ramping up. We have come up with a group name and have designed a logo and we are going to have some badges made up. Price is $ 40.00 plus shipping and may go down if we get enough numbers. If anybody is interested let me know.. we have set a cut off date of January 15.

Sounds good guys. I don't want any money at this point, we are just looking for commitments. After we get a firm number we will will know the pricing. You might have noticed that the badge is a hexagon and not an octagon. The group isn't MG specific and the name came from a group email I sent out addressing them with "Greetings Whitworth Nuts"...at the time we considering a number of suggested names and the greeting grabbed everyone's eye. A fellow in the group (multiple TD owner) drew up the logo with the focus as a nut. The group tweeked it a little and the post above was the result. This was the original drawing. ![]() |

I'll take one of the hats too, if you get them. p.s., to Dave DuBois -- Sounds like a good plan Dave: The Puget Sound chapter of the Whitworth Nuts Moto Ring Club. See what you've started LaVerne ;>)) |

LaVerne - If you are looking for someplace to manufacture the badges, may I suggest Rallye Productions WWW.rallyeproductions.com They produce a good product that won't fall off the car due to inferior soldering of the mounting studs. Cheers - Dave |

I'll post a tally for the requests on the 15th.. I don't have any pricing yet on the hats or the quality (I think there are some options) for that matter. Perhaps after the first of the year. Happy Motoring |

Hats can run the gammit from 10-20 including logos, in any event I am in. |

I'll go for a hat, too. It'll go with the rest of my Christmas presents. Cheers, Dave ![]() |

Ok Bud. We got a second price quote from another vendor on the badges that is considerably lower than the first one. I'd like to see an example of their work but I will keep you advised. |
