MG TD TF 1500 - Anybody need rear axel shafts?

I installed the new ones offered by Dave Clark. My originals have the bearings on them, splines are good.

Free, you pay the shipping.

Otherwise, they go to the scrap yard or get buried in the woods.

I'll take them! How do I contact you?

Anybody else? I still have the ones that I removed for the Jerry Austin/Dave Clark high tech ones. The bearings are in good shape, as are the splines. They're just taking up space on the garage shelving. IMHO, there's no longer a need to carry a spare. Bud

MAndrus,

God Bless You!

I don't need axle shafts, but I have required various parts in the past that I could not find a source for.
In each case some fantastic fellow MGT hobbyist came to my rescue and offered them to me for just the price of the shipping.

I have even been able to do the same a time or two myself. Its a great feeling that makes your day.

I have been fortunate enough to have had the resources to
allow me to own several more than my share of antique
cars and other toys. Consequently I follow about 12
online forums and have for years.

Let me say that the people on this forum are the most
generous of all of them, and more than willing to
help others, hands down!

These little cars attract the nicest people on the planet.

I've been racing my TD for some years now and can't say enough about the MG family and racers specially. Everyone's ready to jump in with spares, tools, and elbow grease to keep our cars running. My axles are still in one piece but they break often enough that I'd like to carry a spare for me or anyone else who needs it. Thanks to Mitch's generosity, that's one less thing to worry about on race day. Safety Fast!

Kurt's getting them.

I've gotten so much help plus the odd bits and pieces from the guys here. Just paying it forward...
