Australia is a big place - there are events all over the country, so it would help to know where he might be and when ?.

His visit includes "Australia Day" - 26th January.

Most of the MG clubs will have events calendars on their websites. That may be the be way to find something of interest. There will also be contact details.

As Max indicated most MGCC in Australia have online event calendars.
From this site , http://www.mgcc.com.au/ you can link to all affiliated MG Clubs in Australia.

OT, my Club President and his wife are today starting their 127 day / 29500km drive, in their MGA from Chile to Vancouver. Last year was around Europe, the year before Cape Town to London, and before that China to London; all in the same MGA "RIP" which I believe will be centrepiece of Vancouver MGA60 display in April.

Australia Day on the 26th of January in the centre of Sydney has one of the biggest displays of Vintage, Veteran & Classic Cars in Australia on display throughout the city streets.
Our famous Sydney Harbour comes alive with Ferry boat races, Tall Ships, and the Vintage single and double decker Buses run free trips all around the city for the day.
Hyde Park in the centre of the city comes alive with all sorts of displays, Gourmet foods, Bands, etc.
The Sydney Opera House is also opened for tours and is situated right on the harbour foreshores.
If you are in Sydney on the 26th then it is not to be missed. Check the Australia Day Council of NSW for more details.
Regards Rob.
