MG TD TF 1500 - Australian 2014 National Meeting
The 2014 Australian National MG Meeting was hosted by my club in Ballina, NSW, some 100km south of where most of us live on the Gold Coast, over Easter weekend. This was not the usual Nat Meet, as there was no racing/ speed events (track, hill climb and/or motorkhana). In lieu of the speed events we ran an extra observation run. I can not report on the event as I was in the UK ( touring the Lakes District, Cumbria, Peak District and Derbyshire). The responses from participants is that the weekend was very successful and they were glad they came along. The Ballina Camera Club members took over 1000 photos which can be viewed on their website at http://www.fantasticfotos.org/ Enjoy Stuart |

Great link Stuart. I could not get to the meeting myself so I had been watching the club website to see if any pics were being posted in their Gallery, but none seen there yet. Is there a results link or email by any chance? Cheers, Matthew. |

Matthew I have added links to concours and touring assembly event results to the Nat Meet web page on the Gold Coast MG Car Club website. http://www.goldcoastmgcarclub.com.au/2014-mg-national-meeting-ballina/ I am told most people participated in the Touring Assemblies, but did not participate in the observation (ie questions), just enjoyed the runs around the narrow country roads. FYI and not included on website numbers from clubs were: GCMGCC 74, Newcastle 2, NSW (Sydney) 10, Qld 36, SA 3, Sunshine Coast 8, Victoria 18, WA 2. Rod, the Club president asked I would be participating in the 2016 Nat Meet in Perth. He is looking at doing a round Australia trip, anticlockwise via Darwin (my old stamping ground). Stuart |

Thank you Stuart. Is Perth confirmed for 2016 then? Matthew. |

It looks like there are a couple of problems with the results of NM14. Hopefully the results will be corrected and re-posted on the web. Yes, there was lots of talk about how we can get to Perth in 2016, so it's confirmed Matthew. But before then, we will see you in the Yarra Valley in 2015 !!!!. |
