MG TD TF 1500 - Badge question
| I found this in the box of parts that came with the MGTF I am currently restoring. The lettering in the space below the crown is LY-6410. Could this be a registration number? Anybody familiar with this type of badge? I assume it is British or maybe from down under. Sorry no matter what I do the picture the picture comes through upside down. Thanks, Bob

| Sorry, it is about 2 3/4 inches in diameter and made of what looks to be a bronze or brass casting... |

A good guess would be British Military. Such as,

| Yes, the closest I came was searching for "crown inside laurel wreath" which got me mostly British army officer's badges. Didn't find an exact match though. |

| The style of crown looks similar to Queen Victoria's reign. May not be auto. A registered post box? Canadian? Matthew. |
