MG TD TF 1500 - Barrett Jackton TD
OK, know how you all love to critique other TD's. Here is one that sold at Barrett Jackson this year. $18,700. Not original, but not all that unappealing. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=83&aid=525 |

Looks a lot better than what I see on ebay for the same price. Fix the seats, get the right air cleaner, flip the bonnet handles and its not a bad car. |

If it runs as nice as it looks I think someone did OK. A |

I can't get the link to open but I don't know if the problem is the link or my clunky computer. Anyone else have problems? Thanks. Jud |

The link works now. A very clean TD. As mentioned it isn't altogether correct, but a good price for a very clean driver quality car with the MGA differential. It looks like somebody got a good deal on the purchase. BobbyG |

It looks like it has a good straight body. To be correct the grille slats would have to be painted' the air cleaner would have to be fixed and those seats would have to go. Not original, but I like the wire wheels. If it were my car, I would put in a wood dash and change the seats. It is an unusual color. -David |

I was able to view the car at Barrett Jackson. Overall the car should have reached a selling price of $20,000 even with the shortcomings. MG TD do not seem to be a big seller these days and are peaking at $23K. You can get a nicely restored car for a lot less. |
