MG TD TF 1500 - before / after
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to show off my TD. I have been restoring it for about 2 years (complete frame off). here are a couple of before and after pictures. I still need to get tires and the rims blasted/painted but she drives so nice! Thanks to everyone who has posted answers to questions. /dan ![]() |

Great effort. They drive much nicer than a lot of contemporary vehicles - the steering especially, owing to the rack and pinion. Dave H |

That's nice. I love to see a restoration coming together. I posted a series of before/after pictures of my restored TD, too. They are at http://www.nonlintec.com/mgtd/before_after/ . You can't tell much difference from the outside pictures, as I didn't repaint the car, but the differences in the details are dramatic. |

Nice job. What paint/color did you use? Was that the original color? Tim TD12524 |

Very nice! The wheels really make a difference when repainted and with new chrome covers! |

Dan, Nice job! I like the before and after photos side by side and have being there and done that, it isn't hard to imagine all the work that took place in between those photos. PJ |
