MG TD TF 1500 - Big time upgrade coming to the Green Hornet

After several long visits with a local Miata performance shop I've decided to make the TF a true special "super car". I'm going to have them replace the XPAG with an LS1 aluminum block mated to a 7 speed auto tranny. The rear end will be a modified Lincoln independent job..and the front will a modified Mustang II. 4 wheel disc brakes. We are going to steel tube the entire tub and doors along with a roll cage. Should be done (according to them) by mid summer. I'll never be eating anyone's dust again.

I think you should also consider a large chrome air intake sticking through the bonnet, attached to a giant blower. Chrome pipes out of the side would also enhance the look.
