MG TD TF 1500 - Body Panel manufacturer
I read somewhere on this forum where there is a good panel manufacturer located in Melbourne, Australia. Would someone be able to tell me who that may be please. Thanks. John |

John K.A.S. KILMARTIN AUTOMOTIVE SHEETMETAL Pty Ltd. http://www.kas-kilmartin.com.au/ They are actually in Ballarat. I have not bought any parts, so cannot comment on prices. They have a good reputation for quality. Ian TF4056 |

Hi John, Kilmartin Automotive Sheetmetal are in Ballarat and make very good reproduction panels. John Kilmartin would help you with your enquiries. He can be contacted on info@kas-kilmartin.com.au I have used them in the past and would recommend them Regards Rob. |

Many thanks Ian and Rob. As soon as I read your message the penny dropped as to their name. Regards John |

In my opinion, for what ever it's worth, Kilmartin is the best panel maker for our cars out there. Buying my side panels from a US distributor was a shipping cost decision. I had to modify both panels, but one was terribly wrong with bad welds and physical size etc. Had I have known this, I would have swallowed the shipping and got them from Kilmartin. As they say, hindsight is 20/20. I have almost $1000 in these two panels! PJ |
