MG TD TF 1500 - brake booster / servo

I do not know if the add on brake booster / servo from a Jag XK, 120-150, & mk 1,2,7,8, & 9 is the one used on MG's but www.welsh.com has them new with a fitting kit $ 225.95

The one that we've fitted is actually from the MGB world. Aha! Moss shows it as fitting multi Brits, including Jags. It's at $189.95. Their page is

I don't know if it is worth the all the extra effort and cost to change the original type of breaking on a TD?

When I stand on my brake peddle - I can lock up all 4 wheels without hesitation. Certainly don't need a servo to do it.

All depends on what you want to do with your MG I guess.

Bob Brown discovered that it's a great fit for our cars. Simple to mount and looks as if it's OEM. Here's a view of the one I installed in Lazarus. Only thing left to do is a bit of painting with Rustoleum Silver. Bud

Ordered and received one for My TD.
A nice improvement on the original.

I also like the look of you clean install of the servo.
I won't be fitting one though as the only exorcise I get is working my brake peddle :)
