MG TD TF 1500 - BRITISH BY THE SEA BBS FORUM MEET AND GREET?
Our registrations are quite good, and we are well over the number that we have had at this time in any of the past years. It was suggested that it would be good to have a “BBS FORUM Meet and Greet” type of thing, as we have a number of posters here on the Forum from a few different Marques who are already registered, including 4 from Canada. Our forecast for a total number of British Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles is now over 400, as long as the weather is good. Hope to see you there! Steve, As you well know, I'm all tied up with GOF 95. My TF is still in pieces and will be for at least another week. But I must admit, its one event I would like to attend before I get too creaky! Maybe in the PA in a couple of years. For those considering GOF95, the event is nearly fully subscribed. The Register has members spread over 4 hotels. For the first time in the Register's history, we've reserved an indoor venue in case of rain for the car display. The Covered bridge tour is fully-subscribed as is the Lobster Dinner Lake Cruise; and all events in general, are pretty full. Good luck with BRITISH BY THE SEA GATHERING. Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué. |

What a great day. Really interesting to meet Lazarus and Mobius and their caretakers, Bud and Mort. I think the turn out of MG was excellent. As well as all the other British metal. Weather was spectacular. Mort, don't know how long a journey it was for you but you, Fredda and Mobius deserve the distance driven award. I found out what those two holes are for on the right hand side of TD2053 under bonnet tool compartment! Sorry I didn't meet you Steve, maybe next time. -- Rick and Carol Constant |

Steve, I sent a note of appreciation to Tom from the BMW Blog and corrected his error. He said he has fixed the blog. To all, Steve Wincze took the time and trouble to make up a Birthday placard for Mobius and surprised me with it when I arrived. What a nice fellow. Mort ![]() |
