MG TD TF 1500 - Brown and Gammons Web Site
Have Brown and Gammons changed their web site or is my computer playing up? Don't appear to be able to view TD/TF parts anymore. Jan T |

Jan, Sometimes the site is a little slow as I've noticed the same thing that you are experiencing. I closed the link and re entered a couple minutes later and it worked. If you can get on their site, I doubt very seriously it's your computer. Could also be a temporary slow down in your internet provider. PJ |

Jan, Their site looks different. I wonder if their doing some change overs. Seems like what used to be red is now blue, but I can access each department. PJ |

Hi Paul, I have now tried to access the B&G site using our lap top and IPad with similar results. Formerly you could click on TD and TF and you accessed a list of areas of the car. When you opened one of these you saw an exploded diagram and a list below of all the available parts. I have tried to go to their site via Google as I have always done, and am redirected to a different site with a simple search box. Unfortunately this then shows the chosen part for all the cars they hold stock for. Maybe their site is being maintained. Jan |

Yes, completely updated and working well now. D |

I have tried the new site and don't think it an improvement at all. The exploded diagrams appear to have been deleted and no longer can you "find the missing bit". You now either need to know what the part you require looks like or know its name. I am disappointed since I have always found their service and prices to be first class. Jan T |

Hi Don't know if I am missing something here but the site looks the same as before with exploded diagrams as usual. This is the .co.uk site Barry |

Jan, I see the same as you, the exploded diagrams aren't visible to me either. Shame, as it was easier for me to find items. PJ |

Brown and Gammons have more than one domain name. http://www.brownandgammons.com takes you to the older site with exploded diagrams. http://www.ukmgparts.com takes you to the new site without exploded diagrams. No idea how long the older site will last though. David |

Shame, the old site link doesn't work for me. I keep getting,*Page can't be displayed*. PJ |

Any link I've tried with the address-www.brownandgammons.com-will not work for me. Even the list of various sites with that address, fails to respond. So it appears, we are limited to the new site. PJ |

Old site still works for me. Jim |

I received the following information from Stephen Gammons..... "As this is a new website you will need to register your details to the new site as your old login details will not work. We fully appreciate that the exploded diagrams are extremely useful in identifying which part you require. In fact, we use them ourselves. The website is in a transition period as we were pushed into going live with the new website and server before it had been fully completed. We have every intention of getting the exploded diagrams back onto the website just as soon as we can and the techno bods are working on it at the moment." Regards Declan |
