MG TD TF 1500 - Bullet Connectors (Size)
What is the size of the bullet connectors on our cars to match the snap connectors. Need to order some and didn't realize there are different sizes. PJ |

Paul, Just order from British Wiring or Moss. They supply all with the same outer diameter. Originally I think there may have been internal diameter differences to account for different strand wiring being inserted, but I find the bullets from BW or Moss will accept any size. I typically wick in some solder rather than crimping. Evan Ford did some nice work in describing British Wiring Standards in his blog on fusing the systems. http://tseriesmg.blogspot.com/ There are bullet connectors at some of the home stores but those connectors don't fit our sleeves. Warmly, |

Thanks Dave, I'm making up an order from Moss as we speak. PJ |

Digging through a box of old saved connectors, before I ordered from Moss, I found two perfect 5 way connectors! That'll save a couple bucks and even found a bunch of bullet connectors. Wife calls me a pack rat as I save everything, but it pays at times. PJ |

This is an Aussie link to a table for Bullet Connector application sizes; http://au.element14.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?st=bullet+connectors&catalogId=15001&categoryId=80000000 Fairly confident that "Element 14" is a world wide distributor. Graeme |
