MG TD TF 1500 - Carb Banjo Bolt Size

What is the diameter of the carb overflow banjo bolt in mm? In other words, what size is the hole in the overflow banjo fitting? PJ

Went Out, pulled one and it's 3/8th of an inch in Diameter. PJ

Harley motor cycles uses banjo fittings on their brake connections that are threaded for pipe fittings. Some straight and some with a 90 degree down angle. Only thing is they are chromed. It was just a curiosity on my part if they would fit. I've looked at other fittings in Brass and there are some out there that would adapt for a carb overflow connection without cutting and soldering an original. I just don't know the size of the hole where the bolt goes through. As said, just curious. PJ

Locate your local "Swagelok" representative they have an extensive range of fittings. Usually a rep will visit you on site if you have a specific application that cannot be resolved over the phone. Company is very customer problem solving orientated, saved my bacon on many occasions.

I just used one of their fabricated banjo fitting/lines to adapt an oil pressure gauge for my Norton. It was a 10mm or 3/8ths banjo with a #3 line and AN fitting on it. It's a neater installation than a separate hose. The fitting is not chrome but cad or zinc plated. The hose is braided stainless.

They have them in various lengths on this page or they will make them up for whatever length you want, I think.
