MG TD TF 1500 - Carburetor Overflow Pipe Size
The carburetor overflow pipes on my carbs mic out to 3/16ths inch for fitting into the banjos. I think only 1/8th is available here. What size copper pipe has everyone used to remake them to extend down in front of the engine? Length is no problem but size is. PJ Oh yeah, the sheet metal is going to the paint shop Monday! Nice. |

3/16 copper tubing is readily available. For example, on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/16-Copper-Tubing-Per-ft/dp/B00EEER2XG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411054584&sr=8-1&keywords=3%2F16+copper+tubing |

Have you tried Ace Hardware or NAPA? I got mine at Ace. Mark |
