MG TD TF 1500 - Chassis Frame Question
Hi, In the service manual in the Chassis Frame section – Fig S.2, I am checking the front extensions for the front bumper. The distance between the front extensions indicates 19 - 9/16” CRS. Does anyone know what “CRS” means? What does it stand for? What would the tolerance be? Best regards, Michael O'Brien

CRS - Can't Remember Sh-- As for what it means in the context of the service manual, I don't know. Cheers - Dave

I think it means on center Rod
Rod Jones
From Wikipedia CRS cold rolled steel; on centres Defines centre-to-centre distance of two features, such as two holes. Jim B.
JA Benjamin
In mechanical drawings, it means between centers of two points or objects. PJ

I'm with Dave- that is the excuse I use when wife I have zero recollection of what she claims she recently told me! George
George Butz
In AutoCAD it is the distance between two center points.

Opps didn't see Paul's post until I posted that. His explanation is clearer!
