MG TD TF 1500 - Chrome arm rest

Hi gents
I would like to have a pair of chrome arm rests, as pictured below. Anyone know where I can get a set?
Anyone out there have a used pair of these they want to sell?

Looks like the ones I had on my MG J2. Try the prewar suppliers such as Barry Walker or Sports and Vintage Motors. Also a posting on the Triple M Register site may help.

Jan is correct. These were a common accessory on pre-war MGs. I gave away a pair several years ago, but you should be able to find a pair from the Triple-M parts dealers such as Sports and Vintage, Andy King, and the like.

I know that they were a period accessory, and I have only seen them on 2 cars.

If you can't find them , looks like a fairly easy fabrication job. The ones I have seen are chrome plated brass. If I fab'd them I would do it in Stainless.

I have seen a pair that were U shaped and had the screws under the door upholsterer panel. I liked those better because you did not have to drill the top of the painted door and could remove them if you wanted.

Thank you Klaus for the link, unfortunatly, Anglo list the parts, but they don't have it longer in Stock.
But I'm also very interested on those items because the paint on upper edge of the door shows some spots.
