MG TD TF 1500 - Dimensions of TF Sidescreen Box Wood

I've looked and looked through the archives and couldn't find what I am looking for. I purchased a couple of sheets of 3/8" Baltic plywood to fabricate a few pieces for my 1954 TF. Does anyone have the dimensions of the wood pieces for the side screen box lid and the 4 pieces that cover the rear axle. (Bottom of the side screen box)
I'm also going to be making new floor boards while I'm at it but already have the dimensions for those.
Any help will be appreciated.

I can get you dimensions. Mine is in perfect shape. I just have to get into the barn to take photos and measure.

Frank, thanks so much for getting the dimensions of the side screen box. I already have the wood and tomorrow I'll start fabricating the floor boards. That should keep me busy for a while! Thanks again! Lou

Rear shelves 575mm front to back taken on top side - front edge is chamfered so bottom side slightly longer.
First shelf (LHS looking to front of car) 365 mm wide.
Middle shelf - trap door 320 mm wide by 510 mm long.
Middle shelf - infill 320 mm wide by 65 mm.
RHS shelf 240mm wide.
Hatch door 450mm by 860mm

Hope this helps

I made mine bigger, one piece floor, (taller), added a lock, and "trays" in the bottom.
Advantages: Easier to store side curtains.
Secure place to lock up my spares.
No longer gets wet in there.
Disadvantages:
Hand crank no longer fit on back wall.
(But mounted on lid can be flipped to prop open the lid)
Have to check rear end level from under the car.

Modifications can be seen here:

Lou,

I apologize for the delay. Here is a photo of a drawing of the TOP three pieces that is the base of the side screen lid. After just reading your post again I just realize that you also need the dimensions of the side screen top lid. I can get these measurements for you I just don't have them right now. This is what I have. Please keep in mind these measurements are taken from a top. The bottom piece is slightly chamfered at the front at the metal frame of the rear body tie bar. So if you see in my notes, the difference is a 1/8" inch chamfer.

I took photos of the bottom where in the rear of this base is trimmed with a router for clearance for the head of the bolt attaching the frame.

I will get the top lid dimensions for you too.

Any questions, email me. Dirtydish AT comcast DOT net.

Pine straps 1/2" thick on bottom . Picture sucks since I painted it black. 1 3/8" wide.

Pine straps NOT 1 3/8" wide. 1 5/8". My bad. Sorry.

Frank & Jan, Thanks so much for taking the time to measure and photograph your side screen box parts. This info will be very valuable to me when I fabricate the new pieces for my car. I found the lid that I removed from the car and will use that for a template for a new one.
David, I like your modification you made and was considering it for a bit but I'm going back to original. I'll probably regret not doing it when I'm looking for space for misc stash.
Thanks again for your efforts. I really appreciate it.
