MG TD TF 1500 - Done with Bill's TC

It's been here since before Christmas and it was nice to see it driving condition.

It was way more work than I ever expected it to be when I voluntered to help him get it road worthy.

But it was a good learning experience for me.

Drove it about 10 miles yesterday back to Bill's house. Up to about 60 for a good part of the way.

Bill's wife has never driven the car but says she intends to before it goes to their son in California later this summer. I think she was pleased to see it back home.

So thats a wrap...and yes he cleared out a spot in the garage..it's not going back in the barn.

As a post script...this will probably be next winters project. Something I'm a lot more familar with.

Good to see the bonnet back on. Looks very "drivable". You did a good deed for Bill and the MG community!

I hope he invests in a good car cover for it. Even in a garage it will get covered in dust in no time. Tell him Super Wallmart has a decent selection of "Budge" covers and cheaper than Autozone. I got the cheapest for $24.95 but they have better. Only 1 layer but fine for garage use.
