Looks great! A freshly painted XPAG engine in a painted black chassis looks fantastic. What paint did you use? Frank TF1414

Well Frank. I have read all the threads on engine paint. Had issues with Moss paint turning yellow when exposed to coolant antifreeze and was leaning towards Hirsch, but when I went to order it, they were out (now back in stock). Figuring Doug at From the Frame Up must use paint that is close to factory, I ordered two cans from him. Got two cans of Moss TD engine paint. SO that is what it is. It is a nice spraying paint. Fairly thick and coats very well.

Bruce. I think that I solved the color change by spraying a heavy coat of clear. That yellow certainly is detrimental to good looks. Sandy

The paint I got from Doug at FTFU came with a can of gloss clear engine paint. I am a bit hesitant to use it as I don't want too glossy a look on the motor. Think I will paint something and see how this batch reacts to coolant.

Got the lump into the frame. Now to put all the other stuff on it.
