MG TD TF 1500 - Evapo-rust
I was watching legendary motor cars and they showed some parts cleaned with this product. Has anybody had any experience with it, good or bad?? Bob

Thanks Dave there was only a brief mention of it in the Archives. It is always nice to have simply options... Bob

Yup. Works good. Use it all the time for smaller parts, works best when warm. Brian W.

Dave, Have you tried to use this stuff on a verticle surface? By brushing it on? The windshield frame on my Jeep CJ-5 has a 2"x2" rust area, I can't submerge the whole frame,, Does it affect an adjacent painted area? SPW

Wonderful stuff. Seems to leave a coating on the steel that prevents flash rust also. Not sure about brushing it on, but try soaking a rag in it and letting that stand on the metal. George

I soaked some bolts in it and here's the result. PJ

works great on the inside of gas tanks. I've cleaned several motorcycle tanks that way.
