Check with Hugh Pite. Also see Bob Grunau's drawing of the factory lightened flywheel. I also have a lightened EX176 flywheel that is a bit more radical, and could probably provide you with a drawing. Tom Lange MGT Repair |

I'd be interested to learn of anyone who has used the B&G flywheel in a street car. It seems like more of a racing object to me, with the associated problems that racing parts on a street engine will often cause: I would have thought there was not enough mass to keep the engine nicely going, off the line. I'm a great believer in lightening flywheels - I do it to all the engines I build, but only up to a point. Tom Lange MGT Repair |

Oops! one of my customers can not find his fly wheel, how ever, he has a 7 1/4" clutch, not 8' Len |

Len, I have an 8" flywheel, clutch and pressure plate I'm looking to sell. If needed, feel free to put them in touch with me. Tom, I have the B+G fwindow lywheel pictured above and cortina clutch in my xpeg. I find it works just fine. The throttle response and spool up is fantastic and I have never stalled it on a start. What specific questions do you have? Alex |

Alex - thanks - you answered them! Best, Tom |
