Flush radiator, change oil, stablits in the gas tank, CV lean the car, put the TD in its bubble and up on jack stand. |

Turn on the heat in the garage and pray for days with no salt on the road. Works for me............ |

Wash, wax, check the oil, drive. It's perfect MG driving weather in Florida! > Tom - While you're in Florida, stop fishing for a weekend in April and come to GOF-South Mk XLIX. More info and registration on-line later this month: http://www.gofsouth.com/ http://www.classicmgclub.com/#!gof2015/cyih Lonnie TF7211 |

I know you'll slap me but I'm like Lonnie. I put the top down and go driving, here in sunny, Tucson AZ. Today's temperatures will be a coolish 76; and the forecast says it will get back into the eighties for the rest of the week. |

You've probably have seen this before, but I'm ready for Winter up here in CT

Ready for winter here in wine country...new pair of gloves. Today we are looking at the low 70s...perfect top down (maybe windshield down, as well) driving weather. I find that 581 really likes the cooler temps. |

Hey Lonnie, We were talking about going to GOF South this year. We were at the last meet that was held at Jekyll Island. Always a good way to start the mg season. Tom |

+3 Celcius, raining. Forecast for tomorrow: Snow. Salt on the roads is just around the corner. Need to take Vera for a spin to drain the oils off her when drivetrain is hot. Then up on jacks in heated garage. Winter jobs to come. And some skiing. regards, Jan |

I'm with Dave Sheward. Lazarus' criteria is temperature => 40 °F, roads dry, sun shining. We get out at least once every month and will fudge the criteria to do a New Year's Day run. Bud |

Tom Scott - Looking forward to meeting you at GOF-South. Send me your email address and I will send you a list of gear-head events in the area before and after GOF so that you can extend the experience, Lonnie TF7211 |

I'm with Bud and Dave. If the temperature is => 40 °F, roads dry, sun shining, I get out and drive. Winterizing is shown in the image attached: aviator cap, motorcycle gauntlets, wool scarf and lap blanket for my co-pilot. To misquote Clack, "We don't need no stinkin' heater!" Jud ![]() |

Lonnie, Do you have the date of GOF South? I'm often in the area late March - Mid-April. Went a few years ago. Had a great time. Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué. |

What's that ?? Dual exhausts on a TD ? What's that hiding in the corner behind the Austin/MG 1100? Below is a pic of our MGs' mothballed for the winter (with car covers off). The TDs gone now replaced with a Bugeye. Between my daughter and I, we have 5 MGs and a Sprite. This picture was taken in my garage in January 2012. Note the raging blizzard in the background. We got 45 cms of snow that day. Goed Clark Rockburn, Qué. ![]() |

Gordon, The car in the corner behind the MG1100 is my TD race car. Never use it but I got it if I need it. Tom

Fill the fuel tank, less room for condensation, & the fuel keeps the sending unit from drying out & leaking |

I use the weather equipment. Getting close to putting the top up.
