MG TD TF 1500 - Glove Box Fasteners

What is/was used to fasten the glove box tops to the bottoms? Rivets, screws or? Knowing just how small the holes are, I was thinking split rivets. Who has them if this is so? PJ

You are right... split rivets on my TF

Split rivets on mine as well.

Correct Bifurcated Rivets. If you cannot get any in the US, I have some NOS ones that are correct for TF.

Mine are brass, about 1/2 inch as i remember but it doesn't matter
