MG TD TF 1500 - Internet explorer problems
Noted the thread dropped from this board. Microsoft just updated (in the middle of the night) Internet Explorer to 11.0. Caused me problems with e-mail and a few web sites. Could be that is causing a couple hiccups here and there. I switched to firefox and all is well again. Peter 54TF |

The problem is at the source, Peter. It's not a browser issue. I'm sure that the Webmaster is doing all he can to solve it. We just have to give Mike some time. We'll all have to 'customize' a time or two. Bud |

The one major thing that Ts me off with Microsoft is, the longer their in business, the more brazen they are getting about sneaking in the back door and making changes to their software that affects our computers without our permission. It's no wonder a lot of people are moving over to Linux based systems. I'm strongly considering taking one of my computers and converting it to Fedora. PJ |

Office PC started crashing, and got multiple blue death screens on PC at home after IE11 update. Seems a problem with video adaptor card/drivers not compatible. Have spent about $1K this year having IT guy fix multiplbe problems caused by Windows updates. Kids say change to Chrome for browser. George |

Issues with Microsoft aside, I agree with Bud that this current problem is at the source. I had all the same issues and I use an iMac with Firefox. Mort |

You can change your update settings to allow you to choose which updates to install before it does it. Then you can "hide" the ones you don't want from the list, never to see them again. |
