MG TD TF 1500 - Leno does the Mille (OT)
OT but worth the watch. Actual 2014 race with Leno driving starts about 5 minutes into it. (You may have to cut/paste. Don't ask me why?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQfdmQ3p0rY |

Thanks! A bunch of other great videos on there also. George |

Did he say "this car is worth $3,000,000 dollars"? Nothing is worth that much! And he drove it with the top down in rain with only a Brooklands screen! I guess I AM a wuss, eh LaVerne? |

Definitly in my bucket - sadly, will probably stay there. Great video. Jud |

Is there a history of MG in the Mille? |

Hmmm. Sort of http://youtu.be/rbv41rtQKrE The MGs are nearer the end but quite honestly you didn't know where to point your camera next. And the Italians are just fantastic at these sort of events. David |

Good video David. Nice red MGA at very end. Did you see Leno? Ed |

Yes, MGs were competing in the Mille Miglia back in the 1930's. Not surprisingly, they won their class with the K3. |

The sound of that XK inline 6 is so delicious! Makes me want one. Alex |

Yes, saw Leno, and Jodie Kidd, Martin Brundle, Jeremy Irons, Brian Johnson et al. Spoke to the drivers of the red Pat Moss MGA and asked about the engine. 'Who knows?' they replied. There were 3 of the 50 AH100S on the event. And the Australian Porsche - first time it had ever been back to Europe, and the shipping company lost the container somewhere in Singapore ...! David |
