MG TD TF 1500 - Looking for steel disc wheels for TD

Mark, do you save the centers? Years ago, we use to remove the centers and put them in wider rims for the rear tires and use the stock rims on the front. Since stock wheels are getting scarce, wouldn't mag wheels be an option? PJ |

Paul brings back some memories with his comment. The center sections are riveted in place and can be drilled out. The center sections may have to be turned a bit on a large lathe but can then be welded into an outer rim from another 15" wheel. I remember doing that on a much earlier MG TD back in the 60's. I believe I used a 15" Oldsmobile wheel. The wider wheel and tire would help you in your racing pursuits. Cheers, Roy ![]() |

Save the centers and have a new rim welded to it Stockton Wheel out in CA can certainly put a new rim on I, true it up and it would be set up for the tubeless tires if you prefer Any width I would imagine also There are near me and is why I recommend them |
