MG TD TF 1500 - MGTD Makers Plate Radiator
Does anyone know what numbers go on brass maker plate for a radiator? There are two spaces where numbers or letters could have been engraved. Thanks Joe |

Declan thanks so much. It looks like the left is the part number and the right is the number of the radiator produced. Can't thank you enough. I now hope someone with a 1952 TD will let me know what their right side number is. Joe |

We all know the TF radiators are different, but I am curious if the left side of the plate is the model or part number and the right side is an individual serial number? My numbers are as follows: Left RG051 Right 411-00399. PJ |

Paul, your radiator was the 399th produced in November 1954. Part number ARG0517 which often shows as RG051. Matthew. |

Paul, just confirming what Matthew has said, my radiator is 404 00274, April 1954 number 274, my car was built 15th May 1954. As mine is earlier than yours do I have to finish my restoration before you? Don Walker TF 4887 |

Matthew, thank you for that bit of information! With your knowledge you should write a book on TFs. Amazing. Don, Yes, your car has to be finished before mine to keep the dates straight! LOL. By the way, how much longer before yours is done? PJ |
