Hey, if you don't use it, why not sell it. GLad it is not the Green Hornet.Maybe Gene needs another car.... |
Tom Maine |
Did you see Godding & Company auction at Pebble Beach on Sunday realized $46200.00 for a red 53? your TD a gift at 30K? They also realized $132000 for a F type. |
Rod Brayshaw |
Tom, Maybe if it were in a little better shape I'd take it...grin. How are you doing? And when are you headed back down to the MS Coast? Gene And yes, LaVerne, I'm glad it's not the Green Hornet also...I love that car. |
Gene Gillam |
..cannot get past the girls to comment on anything else...well played sir, well played. regards, tom |

Beautiful car. What did you use to support the bonnet when viewing the engine bay? |

You guys are supposed to be pointing out the flaws. I've seen TD's sell for more at the auctions and gave serious thought to taking it to Barret Jackson in Vegas. But thats a crap shoot no reserve deal and the fees are over the top. Add in the fuel cost for me to haul it down there and the motel rooms and I think the price is fair. We will see. Just through it out there today. If nothing comes of it it may go to Scottsdale this winter. Doing ok Gene. No trip plans at this time. Home made bonnet rod props RC. ![]() |

Where was thing when I was shopping 5 years ago! Basically you have a NEW car there! Fyi, mine came from Craigslist front range. You might post there also if you haven't done so. Ed |

With the presentation you have, have you considered Ebay with a respectable reserve? Bill TD24570 |

Very nice! Probably the best TD I have ever seen on the internet or elsewhere for that matter. George |

Now that's the way to market a car on any venue. Best ad for a car I have ever seen. Jim |
James Neel |
Indeed, Jim. But how many cars could qualify? Bud |
Bud Krueger |
One of the best car adverts I have ever seen. Well done. |

Gene, coming down again next March. Let me know when that car show in NOLA is going to be. I am gonna try and kill two birds with one stone. New Orleans is kinda a second home to me. Need to get back and get a good Po Boy at my favorite place. The Short Stop in Metarie where I grew up. Also to see you and your bride and take in a car show. |
Tom Maine |
That is one beautiful car. Mine might be on the market soon for about half that price. I have really enjoyed it for the 8 years I have owned it but now we are retired in North Carolina my wife thinks we need something a little newer that can comfortably cruise on the interstate. I tend to agree, but parting will not be easy. |
Bob McLeod TD 5618 |
Looks nice. Hold to that price, nobody could replace it for that price. David |
D. Sander |
Bob a new 4:55 or a 5 speed will do the trick. Nc HAS Ssome nice roads to follow around and there are a lot of MG cars down that way. |
Tom Maine |
Mate That thing is a credit to you, you are probably selling it too cheap however there appears to be a lot of competition in the US MG market place. "Sometimes a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." |
