MG TD TF 1500 - New TF Instrument faces
Are new instrument faces available for the TFs? PJ |

Not that I am aware of. mine looked bad when I got the car but the faces turned out ok. Just needed to clean the inside of the glass. I did repaint the needles.

Thanks LaVerne, Maybe that's all mine needs. When I get to them I'll check out the glass. Your first photo looks real nice!PJ |

Does anybody have a Metric Speedo for the TF? As most of you know, Canada is Metric, and since the temperature gauge is already metric, I thought I'd go all the ay. Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué. |

Paul see my post "TF Jaeger Speedo" there is a supplier of dials listed. Whatever you do dont clean your existing dial with a solvent, you might duplicate my mistake. The weapon of choice is an art gum rubber, erasure in your part of the world. Gentle rubbing with this very soft product can create surprising results, many aircraft instrument dials have been saved from the scrap heap using this process. |

Thanks Graeme, I'll check that out. I ask questions when they pop in my head and try to keep a list of answers. It'll be a while before I get to the instruments, but if they check out bad, they more than likely will be sent out. I'm going to check and see if faces are still available. Thank you for the input!
