MG TD TF 1500 - New Wiper Knob!

LaVerne told me I should play the lottery, as I put a request out on another site for a TF wiper knob and a fella from Connecticut got back to me and said he had a repo from years ago that has never been used! Send me your address he said and I'll send it to you! Talk about luck! It's on it's way. I still have a hard time believing it. wow. PJ

Anyone know what these knobs sold for back when they were available? I want to pay this fellow who sent it to me, telling me to pay him what I think it's worth. I know it's worth more than when it was new, but I need some comparison as not to take advantage of this good Samaritan! Any help on this? PJ

Your probably not going to want to hear this but I paid $25 for one and $30 for the other and of course there is the issue of shipping. Supply and demand, they are scarce.

I think I bought my repros from moss for $44 each, but I can't remember. Anyway, like the originals I took off the car, these too got lost. I can't find my dash board grab handle or the shark gill louvered panels that go under the front fenders either. I have gutted the garage and looked everywhere, but still can't find them. I do konw that at one pont, they were all in the same box.
The moss re pops were flat black plastic, not Bakelite.
