MG TD TF 1500 - Picture request
Looking for a picture of the TD that has the frame and wood on it before you attach the metal to the wood. I also need a picture of the door with the wood frame on it. If you can send it to my email above that would be outstanding. Thanks

That's not a likely combination. The tub sheet metal is attached to the wood before the assembly is attached to the frame,IIRC. Bud

Thanks La Verne. Sorry for the confusion?

LaVerne, is that a rare "Town and Country" model TD?

Some of these pictures are of a TC tub. The last picture is of. TC, TD and a TF tub. The TD tub has a metal cross brace behind the seats. This is plywood with an angle iron brace on the TC. David

Try you tube "MG TD body build" it shows you most of what you need to reskin a tub. Ray TF 2884

Previous owner removed the wood from the passenger door and aquired new. I put in the new wood but did give some thought to making a "woody" at the time. Not the right car for the project but something I might have done if the sheet metal had been wasted on the bottom.

Thanks a million. That is exactly what I was looking for. Joe
