MG TD TF 1500 - Rexine
Is there a source for Rexine or a modern equivalent? Question came up at a Natters and Noggin and I seem to remember someone on this board saying something about this subject. |

Tom, That was earlier this year, quite a few suggestions,, it is in the 2013 archives under Rexine Obviously I can not post the link, as it would be under my log in,,,, SPW |

Sounds like we need to hone in on when the TD moved from a cloth texture to a more leather like texture. I think its clear from the responses there were both types and it sounds like it must have cut over in 1952. My September 1952 car (19629) had the leather like rexine. |

That would have been Gordon Clark. Bud |

Tom, my source for the Rexine (info in the archives) was SUPER..excellent service and VERY interested in helping other car owners. From my research most (read all i contacted) bookbinders/bookbinding supply co. Handle the same product, from the same source..service was all the separated the 6 sources I contacted. I will be gone until next week or I would copy you my source. The info is in the archives. Regards, tom |
