MG TD TF 1500 - Right rear fender
Just got a new "used" right rear fender from Hugh Pite and it's in perfect shape! Not a dent or scratch on it. The original had 5 pounds of Bondo on it, I use that figure loosely but not too far off, to fill in the dents, real bad dents! Hugh saved the day again. PJ |

Paul Other than the bondo, any other issues with the old fender? A good metal person probably can still save the old one. |

How do we make contact with Hugh Thanks George |

Bruce, the old fender is repairable, but will take quite a bit experience at panel beating. It not only has many serious dents, it's warped also and a past repair done years ago, was done wrong at the running board connection. PJ |

I'm interested in finding a pair of old rear fenders for a trailer project. Anybody got any suggestions? Condition totally unimportant... |

Geof I might be your man. I have a pair of TF fenders that are good looking but have a bit of filler in them. Contact me and I can send you photos. Tom '54 TF |

Got some of the fender from Hugh done. Shot some etching primer to keep it from flashing. Other than a couple very miner issues, the fender is like new. PJ![]() |

Did you know the rear fenders on a TF are 3 pieces welded together? PJ |
