MG TD TF 1500 - Rocker pedestals bolt torque settings

Anyone have the rocker shaft pedestal bolt torques on an XPEG? Two bolts, an 8mm & 10mm. PJ

My notes say 43 lbs/ft and 16 lbs/ft.
I don't know where I got, it but have been using for 40 odd years.

Torque the large rocker stand bolts to 43 foot-pounds, the small ones to 19 foot-pounds (published torque values are wrong)

Check the small ones for stretched threads, espectially right by the unthreaded part. George

This is quite timely as I’m putting my freshly ported MKII head on TD-4834 this evening. Hope to have her back together and running tomorrow then back to dad’s car door project
